Pricing and financing and budget, oh my! Sorry, thought I’d repeat it for dramatic effect. I know what you’re thinking. And yes. I do whistle while I work. My coworkers love it. I’m told by our accountants, you know, the ones with the thick glasses, that financing is arguably one of the most important things to consider when building a new home. Opinions vary but for the sake of this article, I am willing to concede. Here are a few tips that you may find helpful when planning your path to owning a custom modular home. Budget and Pricing
Have you settled on a budget? Great. Together, we'll look carefully at your must-haves, wouldn’t it be nice to haves, and it would be wicked freakin' awesome to haves. For example, I must have 3 bedrooms and two full baths, It would be nice to have hardwood floors and granite countertops, and it would be wicked freakin' awesome to have a wrap-around porch and an attached two car garage! Make sense? If you don’t have a budget, we prefer that you talk to a lender first, but we can price a home using standard specifications provided by our manufacturer. And Financing, Oh My! Are you looking for lenders that are familiar with our way of building? Over the years we have developed good working relationships with a number of the local banks and credit unions. If you like, we'll point you in the right direction to speak with the right people. We're not saying that our lenders love modular, but they do send us Valentine’s Day cards ;) Comments are closed.
