Think modular homes are boxy clones? Think again. This 10,000 square foot home was completed for a client that had very specific requirements for his family’s vacation home. The house has Anderson 400 series windows, a custom kitchen and appliance package, granite counters, foam insulation, vaulted ceilings, radiant heat, tiled showers, 9’ ceilings, multiple gas fireplaces, cable railings, a custom cedar shingle siding package with PVC trim, and hardwood floors throughout.
The home was completed in less than 1 year from purchasing the property to the client moving in. This included the design process, local and state approval process, fabrication of the modules, delivery, set, and completion work. The home is located on the side of a ski mountain and required a road to be built on the ski trails before the snow flew.
