Why did the 4th little pig build a modular home? Because the 4th little pig knew that a home that was built in a factory setting, safe from the elements and with oversight at every step of the way would be a better home and would stand up better to mother nature and the big bad wolf.
How does someone pay for a modular home? If you have a lot of cash, that’s great. But honestly, who does? We work with a network of local lenders that speak modular and understand the local real estate climate.
What is the typical cost of a modular home? It’s impossible to give someone a typical cost because all of our homes are custom designed, engineered for your specific property and built with the specific materials that you pick out. However, since this is modular, we can make it easier by having some standard specifications that most of our clients start from. But we still need to have a brief conversation with you (email, person, fax, phone, morse code, etc..) so we can give you a price that has some accuracy.
But seriously, why doesn’t anyone tell us about the 4th little pig in the actual book? Because the 4th little pig’s house was modular, the thing was tough. It was such a strong house, that it wouldn’t be a very interesting story. It would have turned the short story into a story about a wolf that just huffed and puffed for years. Plus, everyone likes the number 3. (Think of the Three Musketeers, the Three Stooges, Snap, Crackle and Pop… should I list more than 3?)
Can I customize my modular home? Yes. With custom modular homes the possibilities are endless.
Can I do some of the work myself? You can do as much or as little of the work as you want, provided the "boss" signs off on it. Not sure who that may be in your home, but in mine, it's definitely my wife...
Can you do everything for me? In some parts of our delivery area that are closer to our location in Greenland NH (Click HERE to see our fancy map) we can provide a turn key price where we would handle everything from permits and land clearing, to helping you figure out how to use the remote controlled blinds. (Yes, we can get them, too.)
Will my home be built to local building codes Your home will be built according to the exact code requirements of not only your state, but your specific town and property. Our homes are built to the International Building Code requirements, meaning they comply with all the same codes as our site-built counterparts. This is another reason that we don’t have “typical” pricing available. We need to know where you are building and what you are building to give you a price.
